Challenge
Logistics fleets run through areas where connectivity dies, and every new driver who cannot follow an assigned route costs time, fuel, and trust. Fleoo needed a navigation system that tracks, records, and manages routes — and keeps guiding drivers precisely when the network disappears.
Approach
We built Fleoo Navigation as an offline-first Android application on the Mapbox SDK. Drivers navigate predefined routes created in a centralized admin panel, so even a first-day driver follows the exact path the fleet planner intended. Driver scheduling, custom route creation, and route recording all feed a feedback loop: every driven route can be recorded, played back, and used to optimize the next plan.
The hard part was making offline the default rather than a fallback. Intelligent caching keeps map tiles, routes, and voice guidance available with zero connectivity, and offline voice-guided navigation runs entirely on-device — no bars in the status bar required. The admin tooling on the server side is written in C#.
Result
A 27% reduction in delivery time through optimized route guidance, and new-driver onboarding that got 60% faster because following an assigned route no longer depends on local knowledge. Fleets operate reliably — and safely — through remote areas where other navigation tools simply stop working.
